Summer is the time for kids to get up, get out, and grow. But for some kids, exposure to activities that stimulate the body and mind ends with the school year. The Y is holding a FREE community event to inspire more kids to keep their minds and bodies active all summer long. Healthy Kids Day®, the Y’s national initiative to improve families’ health and well-being, features activities to motivate and teach families how to develop healthy routines at home.

Join 1.2 million participants nationwide and kick off summer with some healthy family fun! Healthy Kids Day encourages kids and families to stay active, connected and healthy.

Every child counts, that is why the YMCA of Indiana County continues to run Big Hearts Little Hands the only mentoring program for at risk youth in our county. This

Every child counts, that is why the YMCA of Indiana County continues to run Big Hearts Little Hands the only mentoring program for at risk youth in our county. This year we are hosting our annual basket raffle to raise funds to benefit this mentoring program. Special Menu Food, drink and raffle proceeds benefit the Big Hearts Little Hands Mentoring Program. Basket drawing begins at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $20 for 20 tickets.

Join us for our 5th annual Independence Day celebration. The Star Spangled Celebration fair will take place on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at the Mack park Fairgrounds from 12:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. This Independence Day celebration will incorporate food vendors, craft shows, activities for children, and entertainment.

Admission is $3 an individual and ​$10 for the family
