What is the Miracle League?

The Miracle League is an organized baseball league for persons with disabilities enabling them to develop sports skills while also improving socialization skills and having fun playing baseball with their peers. The field removes barriers of a typical baseball field that can cause a child or adult with a physical or mental disability not to be able to play. To help minimize these barriers Miracle League teams play on a custom-designed, rubberized turf field that accommodates wheelchairs and other assistive devices.

The National Miracle League organization was started in Conyers, Georgia in 1997 and currently there are 275 Miracle League Organizations across the country including Puerto Rico, Canada and our newest member in Australia. The Miracle League is proud to serve over 200,000 children and young adults with disabilities.
